This opportunity provides funding for the eight established projects that provide the public with access to the papers of the Founding Era of United States history, including the papers of George Washington, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, and papers that document the ratification of the Constitution, the work of the First Federal Congress, and the work of the early Supreme Court.
